Henri Matisse
Yesterday, the story "Pigcasso Meets Mootisse" was shared with you. Do some research on your own and post 5 facts about Matisse on the blog over the next week. I haven't found information about Matisse yet, but he is probably one of my favorite artists. He made the painting The Goldfish, and to me it looked like a paper cutout with more detail. In class today you asked Devon what kind of colors Matisse used and he replied,'Bold & vibrant.' A couple years ago in art I saw a painting by Matisse that was mainly black, red, and various shades of gray & brown. Matisse was an amazing artist, and as I said about Picasso it looks like their art styles reflected off each others, I wonder why they fought?
