  1. The most exciting day of the summer for me was Memorial Day. I had traveled to San Antonio, Texas to visit with my dad, my brother, and his family. The adventure for Memorial Day was a trip to Sea World. We set off early, and were pleased to find out that military and their family members were admitted to the park for free. My brother and his wife are both in the Army, so free passes were available to us.
We immediately made our way to the dolphin pool. My niece, Alexandra, was actually able to touch a dolphin as it swam by! Our next stop was the sea lion show. A friend of mine actually works at Sea World, so after the show we were able to take photos with the sea lions and have a private interaction with them. It was definitely a terrific perk.
We saw many animal displays and also had great fun playing in the water park connected to Sea World. It was a day where great memories were made, which was even more meaningful because the next day my brother left for his deployment overseas.

  3. The most exciting part of my Summer was going to Zion National Park,Utah.
    It was so breathtaking!
    I loved the beautiful scenery!
Also,I got to see my Aunt,Uncle, and my cousins there.
One of my favorite parts was when I got to hike through the Narrows. The Narrows is a long river that goes through lots of beautiful canyons. It was over 100 degrees and the cold water felt great!
    I also saw a 2ft long lizard!
    I had a blast!

  4. I was at a summer camp where I got to sleep in tepees and have a water balloon fight with another age group camp in the camp.We got war paint and head bands for the water balloon fight.Pretty soon me and my tepee members were playing stick wars. One of my tepee members had really stinky feet so that we had to roll up the tepee. After a while everbody said that they wanted Bryce out of the tepee.

  5. I did tennis, keyboard, International Tae Kwon Do, and swimming through the summer. It was fun and very sporty. I did Tae Kwon Do camp, too. I also did My Gym camp with Emily. I was tired at the end of the summer, although I enjoyed these activities.
